T- Shirts and Transfers

Hi guys,

Well, i just spent my evening making the prototype (lol) for the t-shirts going into the wardrobe. And here's a pic of it. Its simple to do, and this was the first try... you prob cant see in the pic, (it was real quick from my cam phone), but during the peeling of the transfer paper, its stretched the image. Im sure that i can get it pretty much perfect next time round. Its a ladies XS tee by the way... (ive outgrown it lol) But i'll bring it in tomorrow and ya'll can see what you think about it. The main concern when we were re-sizing the images... (well, Lee and Niks) was that the image was not that big, and the quality wasn't great because its been scanned in, so we were worried that transferring onto a tee would make it look even worse. But lets see tomorrow what everybody thinks... There's a whole series of these by the way...

Chow chow,

Nat

muscles from brussles

well ok, ok ...i know we have "no man" from brussles but you get the general idea

so myself and Sindy are going to be doing the runs on Tuesday, if everything still goes to plan. but! going by how heavy the load was on Sunday, when it was just me and Georgi i think it would be very much appreciated if we could get a big, lean, man machine to help us wee ladies lol....dont want to breaking a nail now do we! :P

so if anyone fancies doing that on Tuesday that would be great : )

p.s i'm in no way being sexiest here, im just having a laugh... i mean how can i be sexiest against my own well....sex.... apologies for anyone whom i may offend though.... got to be careful with today's current climate lol

INSURANCE :)

Hey You Guys! (Goonies style ;)

May, Georgi and Myself, finalised the insurance application. We went for Event Insurance Services Ltd. 'One off Events' Package deal. These are the details of the package.

Equipment/ Contents - Covers your liability in respect of the accidental loss or damage to event equipment for which you are legally responsible for both at your event and in transition to or from the venue during the period of the insurance. (We specified the computer laptop and art work. NOTE! they will only pay for the reproduction costs not the value of art. So for example if a painting gets damages then they will pay for canverse and paint.)

Public Liability - This protects your legal liability to pay for compensation and claimant’s costs and expenses for accidental bodily injury, loss of or damage to property sustained by members of the public and occurring in connection with your event.

We did not feel it was important to add cancellation cover or employer’s liability as it would have cost more and not that relevant.

The insurance will cover us during the dates of the exhibition, equipment protection to the value of £2500 (as £5000 cost more). The public insurance included in the package covers us up to the value of one million, lol.

Opening times

There seems to be some confusion about the precise opening times...as far as I can remember (and I might be wrong!), the 5th-6th December opening times are 5-10pm (so the invites are correct). However the preview night is 7pm to ? Does the Foundry stay open until 12 or does it close at 11pm? This needs to be sorted for the invites which at the moment say 7-12.

Also a thought: when doing the invigilation rosta do make sure that the team always includes a male student present. Before anyone shouts at me for being sexist.....just think, it is a pub and the later it gets the worse for drink will the visitors to the exhibition be. So just as a precaution I think it would be a good policy.

Small Prints

Are you guys still going to chuck all small prints onto one file or would you consider printing the smaller ones at Jessops, as I suggested last Wednesday?

I can do that if you want, just need the files on Wednesday.

It would save a lot of time and hassle. :)
