Confirmation of Our Gallery Space

I guess i will do the honours just to announce the gallery space we have chosen for the benefit of those who were unable to attend the meeting today.

After setting the deadline for today to decide on the gallery space, by a majority vote, the group have agreed on the Foundry space in Shoreditch, which Kate has confirmed with the owners and booked us in for Tuesday 2nd December to Sunday 7th December.

(All those who could not attend, the group had to make a decision today, as we could not leave it any longer, so we voted on the basis of those in attendance.)

I hope that after the events that unfolded today that we have thought about it, and have all learnt some things. I guess it is exactly all these things which will test our ability to work as a team, and our ability to solve problems.  I wish not to dwell on the matter but just to clarify those things said today, i hope that our disagreements won't stop us from working together, and that we can act in a professional way in all aspects of this project, from the way we present our views, to the running of meetings, or our attitude towards one another.

Let us continue to work forwards towards the making of a great exhibition, and to the bonding of a great class! (I should superimpose my head onto a picture of Barack Obama lol).

P.S. I'm hoping that Lee is going to post up the proper minutes for the meeting at some point :D

Great you have made a decision, though it sounds like you were not all in agreement. I'm sure you will fill me in on Wednesday!! What you will ALL agree on will be putting on a great exhibition, so we will carry on with that in the seminar this week.

I will get on that as soon as I get a free minute, unfortunately am rather bogged down with other work at the moment. I agree with everything that nat has said. It is important that we all treat each other with mutual respect in order to stop major disagreements occuring; we all started this project as friends and I (personally) would like it to end that way as well. Everybody should feel free to voice their opinions, because if you don't then decisions get made that people are unhappy about. Jasmine and i went to the Foundry today at 5pm-ish. it was closed, but it was easy to find so that is a major plus. I have also notified Yara at the redgate as she currently has another person interested in the slot she offered us, so at least she won't be out of pocket ^^ All in all a very productive day. Are we going to announce the location on the website asap?
