Free Prints

Following our meeting on Wednesday, and on the understanding that the third years from last year managed to get free prints for their exhibition... I tried to contact Gordon to get some info about this and to see if we could have the same privelage :P

He wasn't around when i went to find him just now, but i asked Chris and Marie who were in the office at the time about what best to do. It seems that it wasn't quite as simple as them getting free prints, but they borrowed one of the printers to take down to the exhibition space to print their stuff there with their own paper, rather it being Chris printing the work for them.

Well, basically, Chris suggests that we should ask Daniel about it first, then see where it goes from there. But we dont even know if we need to print bigger than A3 at the moment... so i dont know what we should do about this, coz i understand the reason for finding out is that if we do want prints, we dont want to leave it too late for Chris and co. because they'll be bogged down with lots of printing etc. around that time. So...

Any suggestions please??

We could theoretically cap print sizes to A3? If we're going with the original bedroom idea anything larger would be a bit overpowering compared to other smaller prints, maybe? Or even simply difficult to locate a place for.

If we're doing something else, feel free to disregard that - I couldn't remember which one we were going for after all the discussions of darkened rooms, messy bedrooms and so on...

Yeah i agree with that, i don't think that we'll necessarily need anything bigger than A3... I guess that we'll need some proper feedback and suggestion from the whole class about this in the next meeting.

Thanks for replying though!

(Oh, and we should be going for the darkened room, with torches idea.)
