.....i know, i know, i know. i mentioned this like what....3 times within wendesdays lessons lol. but seriously do think that we should all make a real effort to get down to the gig on sunday, its gonna be really good : D. plus ive got the legendary hand stamp machine thingy : D so if anything its worth coming just for that haha.
if you are working then fair enough, we all have to work. but if your not and your free definatly get your behinds down their! :D
if! people dont know how to get their, i got the tube to liverpool street, then simply get a return ticket, if you fancy coming back the same way for £3.40 i think it was, and get the overground to stoke newington. im pretty sure Liz said its just past the morrisons which is "up" the hill on your right as u get out the station.
heres a google map thingy for everyone and anyone : )

installation team....
Are we still looking for furniture....? If yes gumtree have section where people offer different things for free, furniture as well...... http://www.gumtree.com/london/free-stuff_120_1.html . You just need transport...I remember Georgi saying we could use his van which would be great. Myself and my boyfriend have a car so we could pick up somthing which isn't too big....If we could decide what alse do we need and when the transport is available I could start making some phone calls ( if I'm not in labour of course..)
I also think we need mesurements of the space so we could design it upfront , as much as I remember both of these rooms are quite small so it's important we don't end up with too many things. People need space to move between all the furniture..!
Anyway installation team I think we should meet up and maybe organize some trip to The Foundry, I'm not too mobile lately but I could always ask my boyfriend for a lift...
Nikki and Mark; please let me know when we could meet up.... and hurry please I had my first contractions yesterday and I'm running out of time....:)

in the dark
If we are to do the exhibition in the dark I think it is a good idea to invest in wind up torches. Three days is alot of batteries to be buying.
I have checked on ebay and they go for around five pounds including postage on a buy it now sale.
We need to make sure that money is allocated in the budget for them. I can buy them through my paypal account when/if it is decided that they are needed.

important installation team announca-mento! : )
so yeah guess, HOPEFULLY EVERYONE WILL READ THIS! AND TAKE NOTE!....because it is VERY IMPORTANT!
....sorry about the capitals and (!), but just wanted to stress the urgency : )
so ive got a list, which i re-did and re-went threw when i was the chair lady at our meeting the other week, of people who have said that they can contribute equipment to the exhibition...much much thanks! : D. the list is as follows.
Karel - Tv... i have Liz noted down as being able to donate, so who's it going to be, : )
Lee - Bed
Helene - Bedding
Helene - Chair
Helene - Desk
Lee - Draws
Helene - Bedside Table
Helene- Bookshelf
Aga - Wardrobe
Lee- Computer
Lee - Computer Desk
Karel - Linen.... but isn't that the same as bedding??
Nat - Pillows/Cushions
In terms of clothes guys, i was thinking because its cheap as chips ; ) shall we just get like clothing from primark??? what do you think?
Ive got down on the list that Helene said she could donate clothes, is that still true Helene?
can anyone else think of anything else we may need?
*IMPORTANT* people who are supplying electronic goods PLEASE PLEASE just make sure we have all the proper leads, cables, controls etc in advance. cause obvious it'll all go pete tong without them lol : )
*IMPORTANT* can EVERYONE who's on the list/can donate equipment please, please send me photos of the stuff ASAP. i like to think us the installation team are giving enough time to get the photos, double check everything for this to go smoothly. because we dont want to have the trouble with the stuff say a week before the opening, cause that aint fair. so everyone *please do, do this* : )
email me the photos to NiksGoodban@googlemail.com.
and IF anyone else wants to donate, or take over from someone else please please feel free, just let me know yeah : )
Meeting on Monday....as usual, so we want all the photos emailed to me by then, so us the installation team can get on with it. : ) . im not normally like this guys, but seriously if we dont recieve them then its just a joke. i dont want to be harsh, but people need to be listerning to me when i say we need this stuff doing.
ok ok! stress levels de-scaling lol.

hey guys!
i haven't heard anything back about the letter so should i start sending it out?
has anyone contacted photobox and places like that for free stuff, as i think it would encourage companies to help us out more if we already had names that were backing us...should i maybe make a couple up or do u think they'll check it out and chase us up for false advertising or whatever it is...need to get started on this asap as we're nearing the date of the exhibition. what are the exact dates and time of the exhibition?

50 free prints!!
Hey guys have also found a website that is giving away 50 free prints just for signing up and registering. I have already used it for printing my own photos. All you have to do is pay the posting and packaging costs (£1.50). It only takes around 2 days to receive the photos. This could be a cheap option when printing images for the exhibition. This is the link:

INSURANCE TEAM
Hi everyone. After the lesson May, Georgi and I all meet up and proceeded to investigate the insurance situation. We researched various companies (Events-Insurance, Hiscox, AXA, Event Assured, Arthur Savage Insurance) over the internet and called them for quotes. So far we have 3 quotes and we are still waiting to hear from 2 more who are sending the quotes via email. So far for events insurance the cheapest and best deal is with "events-insurance" and the quote was £125. This insurance is for 5 days and covers equipment (computer, T.V, furniture) and artwork for the value of £5000.00. Also public liability insurance is also included in the deal as it works out cheap getting it as a package rather than just contents insurance.
If anything was to happen to the artwork the insurance company will only pay for the cost to reproduce the artwork rather than the sale value cost. Also if we were to claim for anything we would have to pay an excess of £250 and then will receive the difference. If you have any question just ask or leave a comment thanks ;)

Seminar Wednesday 5th November
As no one has confirmed that it has been arranged with the Foundry that we can meet there on Wednesday to see the space, then the seminar will take place at the usual time/place: Keyworth Building 10 am.
Please pass this message on to the rest of the group.

Invitation printing
Here are the designs for the invitations (click on the images to see full size). This will be a limited print of 100 invitations for the extra VIPs that we definitely want to see at the opening of the exhibition. The invitations will be personalised and posted. The sooner we do this, the better. Of course, we need a list of 100 people now. Suggestions to the comments please!

The printing of the 100 oversized postcards would cost as follows:
The cheapest I could find was £26.43 by Vista Print and this includes:
- 100 oversized postcards (216mm x 139mm)
- Our own design
- Double sided with glossy front
- White envelopes
- Standard postage
Money people - is this price ok?
Karel.
Ps. Once the postcards and the envelopes have arrived, we need to post the invitations to the guests, so will have to fork out a little bit extra for the stamps.
