If we are to do the exhibition in the dark I think it is a good idea to invest in wind up torches. Three days is alot of batteries to be buying.
I have checked on ebay and they go for around five pounds including postage on a buy it now sale.
We need to make sure that money is allocated in the budget for them. I can buy them through my paypal account when/if it is decided that they are needed.

Well I have seen this website... Perhaps we could contact them and see if we could get a deal on a mass purchase? If we are looking to buy 10/15 torches, it could get quite expensive at £5 a pop. Maybe we could offer advertising in return for a deal? Like we culd put them on the flyer and website as a sponser...

I think how many torches we want will obviously depend on how many people we want in the exhibition at a time. I think ten might be too much to be honest. it's not a very big room and which it's full of furniture there'll be even less room to move around. Maybe six or seven will do.
a few of the companies do a combined postage, so if I recall the torches were on average under three pounds, its the postage that bumps it up.
I will check out some of them and see how much it will be for ten (giving a couple the chance to go walk about).
